SITUATION: We wanted to connect experts and assets, such as code repositories, to teams. No central database existed, leading to siloed knowledge and assets. Employees didn't know who to contact for demos and expertise.

TASK: Develop a company-wide platform to leverage existing assets, accelerate delivery, and ensure clients receive the best solutions.

ACTION: Initial research included a comparative analysis and interviews. Insights included the need for whitepapers to learn on demand, and before setting meetings with busy experts to best use their time. I prototyped a Salesforce solution to address initial requirements and ran usability testing. Initial tests of the prototype revealed "confidence in understanding the system" at 8.2 out of 10 and "confidence in completing specific tasks" at 7.5 out of 10. These tests determined and prioritized the next phase of customization and features, including advanced searches, to improve that confidence level.

RESULTS: As of January 2025, the tool is among the top 10 most popular links company-wide. Contributed content has more than quadrupled since launch.
